Job Description Title: Program Therapist II - Float Classification: Exempt Facility Type: Partial Hospital Program (PHP), IOP / Inpatient and Residential Reports to: Full Line: Sr. Regional Director | Dotted Line: Clinical Manager/ Clinical Director Indirect Reports: None Client Transport: Yes Travel: Yes EHR Access: Yes Position Summary: The Therapist ll provides individual, group, family and/or couples therapy and collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment to the client and their family. The float role will provide back-up coverage across sites, or in a virtual format, within a specific geographic region. Back-up coverage will be utilized to support planned or unplanned PTO, as well as coverage during recruitment for open roles as needed. Duties and Responsibilities: • Conducts individual, group, and family therapy sessions with the client and their family or community of • support as assigned • Provides back-up for a caseload of patients (individual and family responsibility per patient) and provides individual and family • therapy as assigned • Coaches individual patient and family meals, when indicated • Develops, implements, and monitors individualized treatment plans • Conducts therapy utilizing evidence-based treatments that align with Accanto Clinical Philosophy • Maintains clinical records in compliance with policies and regulatory standards • Completes all documentation as required in accordance with Accanto policies and regulatory requirements • May lead treatment team meetings • Participates in treatment team meetings by reporting client and family assessment findings and response to interventions • Participates in Program Management Meeting as assigned • Completes lead responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to providing length of stay updates, tracking attendance for billing purposes, ensuring curriculum rotation, conducting orientations, providing program feedback to leadership, collaborating with the RD to plan experientials and COS group • Contributes to multidisciplinary case conceptualization and treatment planning • Communicates effectively and works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team • Conducts intake evaluations as assigned • Maintains clinical productivity in alignment with the Organization and Program expectations • Assists with milieu management as needed • Communicates with UR team to provide clinical data necessary for insurance continued stay reviews • Generates discharge plans by making treatment and other recommendations and coordinating next level of care services • Collaborates with staff, community professionals, and community agencies to coordinate next level of care services and maintain continuity of care • Participates in administrative and clinical supervision as scheduled and seeks supervision when needed • Engages in self-evaluation process, seeking feedback regarding own practice, from clients, peers, professional colleagues, and others • Participates in case consultation meetings • Participates in site based and national Quality Assurance initiatives • May provide clinical supervision as needed and appropriate based on licensure • May conduct internal and external presentations • Maintains up-to-date therapeutic skills and knowledge of advancements in eating disorders assessment and treatment, best practices, and resources through participation in professional organizations, internal and external training opportunities, and reviewing current academic literature • Maintains at all times the confidentiality of former and current Emily Program and Veritas Collaborative clients’ protected health information, as directed by state and federal law, and Emily Program and Veritas Collaborative policy. Additionally, maintains confidentiality in any position with access to employee personal information. • Maintains at all times the confidentiality of proprietary information, which includes but is not limited to, trade secrets, sensitive company information, and generally any company information not made available to the public. • Completes all required training • Attends regularly scheduled meetings • Drives clients, staff, and supplies in the company vehicle as needed • Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Current full licensure in the state of MINNESOTA required • Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences field • Individual, family, and group psychotherapy experience required • Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive • Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association) within 14 days from date of hire • DBT, CBT, FBT experience preferred • Eating Disorders treatment experience preferred • Computer proficiency required • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Competencies: • Exhibits passion for our clients, values, and organization • Demonstrates excellent clinical customer service using therapeutic communication skills to build strong client relationships and improve outcomes • Participates in providing clinically competent care by self/staff/team through education, role modeling, teambuilding, clinical documentation and quality monitoring • Uses leadership, team building, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to build partnerships within and across system Workplace Requirements: • Sitting 70-75% and Standing 25-30%. • Bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, or crouching when appropriate, on occasion. • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to approx. 40 pounds (supplies, etc.)
