Infusion Center Patient Scheduling Manager Job Description - Full Time Our organization will be managing the Infusion needs of patient’s and maintaining their continuum of care from intake, assessment, and treatment through the completion of their visit. Our primary focus will be the safe and effective administration of biologic medications (e.g. Remicade, Tysabri, etc…), but we will also offer a full range of infusion services including, but not limited to, antibiotics, hydration, vitamins, iron, and steroids. On occasion there will be a need for sterile dressing changes and lab draws. This role will oversee our Centralized Scheduling Team for Infusion Centers that are located across the Southeast US. We welcome healthcare professionals from all medical backgrounds with a positive attitude. Preferably possessing outstanding communication skills, an ability to work well across other divisions with a service minded approach and a background with managing complex schedules for patients needing healthcare services. We are currently hiring a Full Time position to work from our headquarters in Murfreesboro, TN. Hours of operation are M-F, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday’s on an as needed basis. Job Type: Full Time Salaried Position Required experience: 1. At least 2 years of Registered Nurse (or Healthcare professional) experience in an acute care setting 2. At least 2 years in a Management role overseeing multiple staff members 3. Call center and/or healthcare scheduling experience preferred POSITION OVERVIEW: • Manage staff and operational aspects of a Centralized Scheduling Team for our Infusion patients in all regions served by the organization • Establish KPI’s that align with organizational goals, and mentor staff members within this area to achieve them • Collaborate with clinical staff (Pharmacy, Nursing and Medical Directors), intake, and other leadership members of the organization to achieve best outcomes for our patients • Establish and monitor scheduling procedures for Infusion Centers and Home Infusion patients • Ability to apply clinical expertise to create scheduling procedures that best manages the needs of specific patients and specific treatments that can impact the efficiency of scheduling appointments • Goal to achieve the highest efficiency for scheduling within our various locations and specified hours of operation based on the clinical resources available • Establish and assist with the training and orientation of Infusion Scheduling Coordinators • Establish best practices for minimizing cancellations and the most efficient process for re-scheduling when necessary • Establish and environment that emphasizes the importance of good customer service and reflects the values of our organization. • Provide staff support with scheduling appointments as needed JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Tennessee. • Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-energy environment • Initiative, creativity, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility • Ability to work with and without direct supervision and practice autonomously • Ability to collaborate with professional colleagues as necessary to provide quality care • Ability to lift packages of up to 10 lbs, • Prior experience with electronic medical records, typing and computing • Ability to consistently present a friendly, welcoming, and professional approach to patient care. • Maintains professional attitude and appearance
