Overview

Our client is searching for a Software Engineering manager to fill a full time position in Boston, MA. If not in Boston, the ability to come into the office twice per week and as needed is required. Primary responsibilities for the role include growing, building, and leading a world-class engineering team; Participating in high-level design decisions; Work closely with data engineering and data science teams to create integrated automated processes that support a robust ML Ops workflow; and Be a technical interface for our client services team and partners to implement clients. Skills required for a successful engagement include having at least 8 years of experience with software development & architecture, ideally in a commercial setting with Python; and 3+ years mentoring developers, helping grow their careers and improve their skills, ideally in a hybrid / remote setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software engineering processes and proven track record of cross team collaboration; and Understanding of cloud technologies like AWS and architectures and experience working with clients to integrate systems and acting as a scrum master is a plus.
