Overview
Description: The El Paso State Supported Living Center is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory therapy work to individuals living at EPSSLC. On-Site work assignment, located in El Paso, Texas. Candidate will work with a group of staff and professionals providing support and services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibility: Performs respiratory care by initiating and conducting therapeutic procedures to include application of oxygen and compressed air. Improves quality of life for residents by keeping their respiratory systems functioning through pressure breathing treatments by utilizing ventilators and various oxygen and aerosol devices and administering oxygen and ultrasonic mists. Implements consistent treatment protocols. Trains Staff/Individuals/Family members on proper breathing techniques. Monitor resident’s respiratory treatment program. Maintains and repairs respiratory therapy equipment. Location: El Paso State Supported Living Center 6700 Delta Dr, El Paso, TX 79905 Schedule: 6 AM – 10 AM, Monday – Friday. Part-time, 20 hrs/week
Qualifications
- High School/GED
- Are you a Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist?
- Respiratory Therapy (1+ years)
