Finance Lead

Overview

Job Description We are seeking a Financial Lead to focus on our value-based care product. This role will support commercial analysis and prioritization of markets, provide value proposition support, develop provider incentives, and create deal financial models and translate to forecast model FP&A-ready. In this role, you will also track actuals and maintain rolling forecast, reconcile booked to re-stated financials, provide FP&A inputs, maintaining finance systems, identify partnering on opportunities to improve deal margins, and financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Partner with commercial, actuarial, contracting, clinical, operations and technology teams to create and maintain financial models representing value based care deals • Create financial models, support contractual negotiations and perform scenario analyses on new deal opportunities • Work with payor counterparts to understand and track actuals • Maintain financial forecast models for VBC deals • Work with accounting and FP&A teams to ensure actuals are appropriately booked and represented in financial systems • Develop, maintain, and publish financial reporting for VBC deals • Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis of investments and new deal structures and opportunities • Identify and provide early warning signals to forecasting uncertainty (revenue & margin projections) • Run sensitivity/scenario analysis to assess a range of outcomes to manage risk; support the development of improvement plans, as necessary • Identify areas to improve and enhance our processes/tools to scale financial planning across our value-based care, clinical and license fee revenue streams to support the rapid growth trajectory of the business • Develop, implement and continuously improve KPIs and scalable performance reporting to; • Monitor financial/operational performance and deliver valuable insights to support critical business decisions • Identify and communicate risks and develop remediation plans, as needed, to ensure key deliverables and financial/operational targets are met • Identify and communicate opportunities for further revenue/margin growth; influence the business to adopt these and crystallize benefits Qualifications • 5+ years of financial modeling experience including income statement and cashflow • 2+ years of healthcare or health insurance experience, preferably focused on value-based care • Experience with FP&A systems; Adaptive Insights a plus • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, collaborating on project-based work • Ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Financial Modeling (5+ years)
• 5+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Income Statement
  • Cashflow
• Healthcare (2+ years)
• Health Insurance (2+ years)
• Value Based Care (2+ years)
