Certified Surgical Technician

Overview

SOUTH TEXAS SPINE HOSPITAL • They have current need for 2 Certified Surgical Techs (CST) for 12-week contracts. **CANDIDATES NEED 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE Facility info • Monday-Friday • Outpatient Setting • No call/ No weekends! • Schedule - generally 8a-5p, but flexes around case load • May occasionally need to float to adjacent Hospital to get full 40 hours/week. • 6 OR suites w/ 2 OR suites next door at attached Hospital CST Candidate Requirements: • Sports Med/ Ortho/Plastics Exp in Outpatient OR Setting (Required) • ENT exp would be nice (not required) • Facility does not do “totals” (knee/hip replacements) Interview process: • Candidates with be sent to the Client and Interviewed within 24 hours Pay Rates: • Pay Rates are negotiable • Ideal range is $18-24/hour

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher
• 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • sports medicine
  • orthopedics
  • plastic surgery
• Valid Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in Texas (TX)
