Agile Project Manager

Overview

Our client is searching for an Agile Project Manager to fill a 3 month contract with a possibility of a permanent position offer at the end of the contract. Primary responsibilities for this role include planning, organizing and facilitating fundamental Agile Ceremonies; driving collaboration of agile team members to deliver on project release initiatives; and using technical development knowledge to overcome project roadblocks. You will also manage multiple project implementation managing dependencies and interdependencies across projects to create the most efficient process possible. Location: - ITWorks - San Juan Regional medical Center - 801 W Maple Street, Farmington, New Mexico, 87401 Scope of Services: - Manage project implementations including decomposition, status tracking, stakeholder communications - Coordinate detailed project plans and own change management of the plans - Create, monitor and provide on-going, objective communication to appropriate stakeholders - Report risk areas and partner with leadership on strategies to address concerns - Plan, organize and facilitate fundamental Agile Ceremonies to foster collaboration of all agile team members to deliver the initiative, project and release objectives - Utilize technical development knowledge to overcome development project roadblocks and to contribute to the deployment of quality software - Identify and lead process improvement opportunities on team - Manage the capitalization, budget, and financial aspects of a project Please include DOB:MM/DD and current physical address for submittal. - Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen - Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position Preferred Qualifications: - Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI) is a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 6+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • computer engineering
  • computer science
  • information systems
  • software engineering
• 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • systems administration
  • systems engineering
