Overview

Current Open Shifts: (Subject to change) - 6am-2pm (+ weekends) - 2pm-10pm (+ weekends) Location: - Rio Grande State Center - 1401 Rangerville Road. Harlingen, TX 78552 Department: - Mental Health Units We welcome all applicant profiles with the following requirements; - Must be bilingual (English and Spanish) - Works with individuals with mental illness, mental retardation, chemical dependency, social and/or physical disorders who are inpatient in their habilitation or rehabilitation efforts in the Mental Health Units. - Will ensure Contract Office has a current license and current CPR certificate at all times while providing services at the Facility. Failure to do so will require a suspension of services until an updated license and CPR certificate are provided and no monetary penalty will be assessed against the Facility for such suspension in services. License, Certification, or Registration required: – Certified Nursing Assistant license - American Heart Association – approved course in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (All certifications must be current and remain as such while providing services at the Facility) Once a candidate is chosen, an email will be sent to the company with clearance requirements prior to being allowed to provide services. Clearance requirements include, but are not limited to, a Facility background check, immunization documentation and clearance, COVID test clearance and clearance of Facility training which is held Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Required
  • High School/GED
  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Texas (TX)
  • direct care (2+ years)
