Data Engineer

Overview

Our client is searching for a Data Engineer to fill a permanent, remote position as soon as possible. Primary responsibilities in this role include designing, developing, implementing, and supporting the enterprise data management and information exchange used throughout the organization. Technical skills required include 3+ years of experience in data modeling, data pipelines, data integration and ETL architecture. You will also need 3+ years of experience managing and manipulating relational databases. Experience in with SQL/SSRS/SSIS and Azure is required. Experience using Java, JSON, Scala, Python is highly desired. Additionally you need 3+ years of experience in at least one big data tool such as HDFS, Hive, MapReduce, Impala, Spark, Kubernetes. In this role you will partner with internal and external customers, to develop new innovative solutions to the most challenging problems. The ideal candidate understands the health information technology industry, clinical data vocabularies, and Azure data pipelines and platforms. Top Skills: - 3+ years of experience data modeling and ETL - 3+ years relational database experience (SQL/SSRS/SSIS) - 3+ years of experience Java or Python - 3+ - Azure experience experience with NoSQL and big data(HDFS/Hive/MapReduce/Kubernetes) is a plus
