RN - Night Shift

Overview

Come be part of a wonderful team at the University of Iowa Rehabilitation Hospital in Iowa City. We are growing and need some night nurses to help care for our patients. We have a wide range of patients from stroke, to multi-trauma, neuro, traumatic brain injury, burns, dialysis, new amputees, post-Covid, LVAD, transplants and more. Our average length of stay for our patients is 11-14 days so you really get to know your patients and connect, while we work to get them home and back to functional level after a life-altering event. We have a strong focus on team work and interdisciplinary collaboration which leads to consistently high patient satisfaction scores. If that doesn’t interest you…. Here’s what we offer: • 12 hour shifts 1800-0630 • Flexible or Set schedule that works for you • Patient/RN ratio of 5-7:1 with a team effort including nursing techs, wound nurse, supervisor, and RTs • Free, onsite parking just a few feet away from the front door…who wouldn’t love that? • Onsite cafeteria with AMAZING food…our dietary staff are the best! • Fun, engaging, and welcoming environment with the best employees around! In addition, there are nature trails, hiking, skiing, lakes, boating and other sites just a short drive away! Ready to hire immediately for an 8 week assignment with option to extend to 12 if needed. Schedule: - 6:00 pm - 6:30 am **Candidate has the option to work 3 or 4, 12 hour shifts per week, on the days of their choice** Location: University of Iowa Rehabilitation Hospital in Iowa City.

Qualifications

• Are you vaccinated against COVID-19
• Are you hands-on CPR Certified?
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in Iowa (IA)
