IT Specialist

Overview

Our client is in search of an IT Specialist to fill a permanent role in Brooklyn, NY. This role will be hybrid, and needed to work on site for hardware support and set up as needed. It will also require some travel in the NY/NJ area and possibly to Cincinnati, OH, but rarely. The ideal candidate for this role is someone that is familiar with helpdesk service protocols; has experience with onsite desktop support; and can hand updates, patches and support for 3rd party service vendors and software providers. Ability to manage some cloud (Azure), server, and virtualization(VM Ware) work is desired. In this role you will answer calls and trouble tickets; set up desktops, laptops and servers for new locations and employees. Additionally you will need excellent customer service skills and must be comfortable providing technical solutions without oversight. Key Skills: - 3+ years of technical support experience helpdesk/desktop support - 1 yr of server support - Office 365 Candidate must pass preemployment background check.
