Overview
We are searching for Desktop Support Technician to fill a 3 month contract for a client located in Washington, D.C. Primary responsibilities for the role include Perform specific hardware and software maintenance, such as upgrades, virus scans, moving systems, and documenting changes in partnership with suppliers, if appropriate, using existing documentation; Install, configure, and update end-user desktop and laptop software; Fulfill technical requests from end users or route when appropriate; and Repair or replace defective equipment with support as needed. Technical skills required for a successful engagement include experience with Office365, Windows, SCCM or similar, and troubleshooting network protocols. The ideal contractor will have 3+ years of experience supporting desktops, laptops, telecom devices and network systems including hardware, software operating systems and connectivity New Requirements: Service Now (CMDB-Configuration Management Data Bast) Asset Management, , Unlock accounts in AD, This position is onsite at the Bear Institute/Cerner Corporation 111 Michigan Ave. NW Washington, D.C. 20010 Please include DOB: MM/DD and full current physical address for submittal process.
