Who You Are We are looking for an experienced nurse practitioner who will provide compassionate care to our members for up to 25 hours per week. As a nurse practitioner for us, your primary responsibility will be performing psychiatric evaluations and providing medication management visits via telemedicine. Because we’re 100% telemedicine, prescribing controlled substances is not part of the role. The ideal candidate is adaptive to change and proactive in providing feedback to the management team on areas for improvement. We are looking for people excited to grow with us! Benefits - Competitive Pay - Full malpractice and tail coverage Role - See patients via telemedicine using the technology platform provided by the practice - Create comprehensive patient assessments & aid in treatment planning - Complete documentation in compliance with clinical and state requirements - Aid in building a physician referral network to attract new patients - Provide excellent, personalized patient care - Own the first take of resolving patients’ clinical inquiries and requests - Participate in patient care clinical case review with the Lead Psychiatrist as needed Qualifications - Must have appropriate California state licensure for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse -Practitioner (PMHNP); multi-state licensure a plus (particularly AZ, CO and/or MN) - 2+ years of experience providing care - Bilingual in Spanish is not required, but preferred - Must be comfortable using computers and video-conferencing software - Dedicated to providing the best patient care possible - Experience in integrative health a big plus - Excellent communication skills - Strong critical thinking skills - Preference given to candidates credentialed with insurance companies in CA Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability Experience: Telehealth: 1 year (Preferred) Prescribing: 1 year (Preferred)
