Director of Nursing

Overview

Our client is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to join their growing team that will support a PPEC - Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (Medical Daycare). The DON will ensure that patient client needs for nursing services are met according to the PPEC regulations and that quality of care is provided. Top Skills Required: • 6mo+ of experience working in a NICU, PICU , PPEC or similar Pediatric location within the last five years • 2+ years of experience working in Pediatrics • Active FL RN License • Active BLS Certification • Active CPR Certification What you need to know: • Full Time Position | No weekend shifts! • Serving children ages 0-21 • Home Health Agency has 99% pediatric patients • Opportunity for Advancement • PPE Provided Hours: Monday - Friday (Day Shift - 8-5pm) **A dedicated team player is desired to work the hours needed when most children are in the PPEC between the hours of 6AM to 6:30PM. Working times may vary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida (FL)
  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS) in Florida (FL)
• Healthcare Management (2+ years)
• Pediatric Care (2+ years)
