Acute Care RN (Central Valley)

Overview

Urgent need for Acute Care RN's in Phoenix: Schedule: 9 AM - 9 PM (2 Spots) Required skills & experience: 1. ASN required, BSN preferred. 2. Currently licensed to practice in Arizona as a Registered Nurse. 3. 3-5 years of inpatient experience (preferably in med/surg) as a registered nurse is required and within the last 5 years. 4. Experience as an RN providing nursing care in the home, community, or clinic is highly desirable. 5. Must be fully vaccinated. Interview Process: 1. Phone interview with Abagail Baker (HR) 2. Phone with Manger 3. In person with Julie Sumrack (VP of HR) and leadership 4. Offer ***Please note they will be hired by Amedisys but managed by the Contessa team Pitch to Candidates: "In partnership with St. Thomas Hospitals, Contessa provides hospital level care in the home for patients that would normally be treated in the hospital. Contessa recently merged with Nationally-known Amedisys, so they will be hired by Amedisys, but managed by Contessa." As these patients visit the ER, instead of being admitted to the hospital, they are ``"admitted'' back home to receive outstanding care in the comfort of their homes or they may be transfer back to their homes after a short stay in the hospital. An integrated team cares for these patients which includes the Acute Care Nurse treating the patient in their home, the admitting Physician, and Care Coordinators that ensure patients receive the resources they need to heal. Our Acute Care Nurses visits patients during their acute phase of their ``"admission'' so typically the first 2-5 days after being sent home. Patient volume is lower so our ACRNs can truly focus on providing patient-centered care, educating caregivers, and not rushing to the next bedside. This is not a traditional home health role which is why your experience fits so well. What you need to know 1. Company is in their late start-up phase. Amazing growth opportunities! 2. Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in Arizona (AZ)
• 3+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Medsurg
  • Acute Hospital setting
