Overview
Required skills and experience: Our client is searching for a Network and Unified Communications Supervisor to fill a permanent role in Toppenish, WA. This role will be remote 4 days/week but will require 1 day per week in the office. Primary responsibilities for the role include planning, designing, developing and overseeing the continued effective and efficient operations of the current network, while also improving system performance and customer experience. You will be in a lead position in delivering advanced perspective on all configuration, installation, problem isolation/resolution issues, encompassing all network infrastructure components. Additionally you will communicate with IS leadership, team and business users to provide leadership, direction and updates on project success, challenges and possible solutions. Technical skills required for this role include an in depth understanding of architecture and engineering of Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, Ethernet, firewall, VOIP, and video conferencing technologies. Specifically Cisco-based Wired and Wireless Networks; Standard infrastructure services (DHCP, DNS, Certificate Services, VPN); Network monitoring/SIEM (Orion) and General industry best practices regarding effective systems management (ITIL). Additionally, knowledge of privacy and security practices including HIPPA and HITRUST are required to navigate the infrastructure of this company. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication along with experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
