Fully accredited by the Joint Commission, the hospital has the only Level III Trauma Center in Eastern Ventura County and the only Emergency Room in both Los Angeles and Ventura counties coveted EDAP (Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics) rating. ACLS & PALS preferred Tell me about this job – The Anesthesia Technician will be a licensed skilled and experienced person who is responsible under the direct supervision of the Operating Room Manager and Chief of Anesthesia for assisting in the OR suites, Labor & Delivery, Cath Lab, Radiology, Special Procedures or any department as directed by the Anesthesiologist. The Anesthesia tech sets up, moves, prepares and maintains all Anesthesia machines, equipment, supplies for the Anesthesiologist. Provides technical support to Anesthesiologists by means of invasive and non-invasive monitoring assistance. Assists in the orientation, training and education of new personnel. Assists in the maintaining of safe and aseptic environment for all patients. Performs all related duties as assigned and directed. Adheres to the Standards of Practice of the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians. Adheres to the standards of nursing care and the policy and procedures of the Department of Surgery. Reports to the Operating Room Manager.
