BSN required; Master’s degree preferred Tell me about this job – The Nurse Manager for Surgical Services manages the daily operations and staff functions in Surgical Services. The patients’ continuum of care from entry to discharge is followed to ensure all patient care needs are being meet. The position assists in developing objectives, policies, and procedures which support the mission, vision and values of the hospital. The position maintains the professional practice standards, customer relations, compliance with accreditation/licensure requirements, personnel and practice in the institution. The position works collaboratively with medical staff, other departments, departmental staff, and serves in a leadership role.
