Overview
Position Summary The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for helping cultivate new and existing leads and support overall sales growth. The primary focus is to prospect into cold accounts to generate new business. Education and Experience • Bachelor‘s degree in Business Administration or Computer Science preferred. • 3 years of relevant work experience required. • Must have strong experience with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com. • Previous project management experience preferred. Must Haves: • Must have read, and utilized the principles of Predictable Revenue by Aaron Ross. • Generating leads by conducting outbound calls and emails to warm/cold contacts, conducting initial sales presentation via web demos, scheduling online service offerings appointments and disseminating leads to Meeting Advisors. • Coordinating email sequences with the Meeting Advisor team to drive lead generation. This position is accountable for maintaining an 8% or greater response rate. • Partner with leadership in conducting market research to develop and expand target customer database in salesforce.com. • Daily management of the Salesforce.com database as well as running sales activity reporting. • Developing programs to reach prospective users including: o Email campaigns (800 outbound emails per month) o Prospecting calls (450 outbound calls per month) o Product demos (5 per day)
