Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

Overview

Our client is looking for a Part-Time, Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join their growing team in Los Angeles, CA. This role will be responsible for traveling to the patients home to provide personal care and assist the patient in activities of daily living under direction of a registered nurse, physical therapist, speech therapist, or occupational therapist. The Home Health Aide assignment shall be made in accordance with the plan of treatment. Top 3 Required Skills: • Completion of an organized course of study as specified under applicable federal Medicare requirements • Active and Valid California Certified Home Health Aide Certification (CHHA) • Valid Driver’s License, Reliable Mode of Transportation, and Auto Insurance Important to Know: • 2mo Contract (highly likelihood of extension) • Local Travel in the Los Angeles area is required (Mileage Reimbursed) • Must have Driver’s License and Reliable Mode of Transportation • Part-Time | Flexible Schedule o Hours vary depending on the number of visits per week are required for each patient o Typically, each patient is required to have 1-3 visits per week o Visits last 45mins – 1hr each

Qualifications

• High School/GED
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Certified Home Health Aide Certification (CHHA) in California (CA)
  • Driver's License in California (CA)
• Are you willing and able to meet the local travel requirements?
• Do you have a Reliable Mode of Transportation and Auto Insurance?

• Do you have experience working in Home Health?
• What is your CHHA License #?
