Director: NICU

Overview

Position: Director of NICU Join the team at Nevada’s largest, most comprehensive children’s hospital. Leading regional provider of neonatal, pediatric and maternal care. The director is responsible for the overall nursing and administrative leadership of the Hospital’s 72-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Manage the day-to-day clinical and continuum of care, quality and operations for the NICU. The Director will play an integral role in strategic planning and business development for the organization regarding market, capital, and operational activities to ensure quality results and market share goals. The Director is responsible for holding the neonatal service line accountable for standards of patient care and performance and implementation of HCA’s neonatal measures. The manager of the NICU, NICU charge nurses and the Clinical Practice Coordinator for the NICU will report to the Director. Qualifications: MSN, MSHCA or MBA 5 years of acute care leadership within NICU required Unrestricted RN license – Active NV licensure preferred
