Overview

RNs – 12 positions Vernon Campus North Texas State Hospital - Wichita Falls Campus Address: 6515 Kemp Blvd, Wichita Falls, TX 76308 Requested Schedule: - Shifts are alternating to meet staffing needs, evenings and nights are currently our greatest needs. - Every other weekend off. - Able to start any day during the week (M-F) - Minimum of 2-3 weeks of on unit mentorship. Job Requirements for all RN candidates: - Must be licensed RN and able to practice in Texas - Preferably 2+ years as a direct care nurse - Charge nurse or supervisory experience is preferred - Experience needs to be hospital acute care, LTC , community clinics, public health, etc. (not Home Health or School Nurse) Other: - Regular rates for Registered Nurse (RN) per the State Staffing Rate Sheet apply for all positions - Must have valid photo ID and current American Heart Association CPR certification (BLS) - Must have negative PPD results within last 12 months - COVID-19 testing with negative result required (facility provides) - Must be able to successfully pass a urine drug screen and background check (Relode provides). - Must be able to successfully pass an FBI fingerprint background check (facility provides).
