Location: St. Joseph's Medical Center 7601 Osler Dr, Towson, MD 21204 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - 100% Inpatient Psychiatrist Position - No Eating Disorder Patients, this is Psychiatric patient population working under St. Joseph's Medical Center. ERC is helping with recruitment Seeking 1.0 FTE candidates; IF ECT background, will consider .5 for ECT/TMS and .5 for clinical - Treating Adult Ages 18+ - Maximum of 12 patients per day - Provide Supervision to PA. who is well adverse, acts like an attendee - Focus on superior patient care by practicing evidence-based, high quality, state of the science psychiatric medicine - Diagnose illnesses, prescribe, and administer treatment - Obtain medical histories, and order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests - Achieve quality metrics by focusing on clinically relevant outcome measures - Advocate for patients by providing consistent and timely documentation regarding the patients need for level of care Must haves, great to haves and bonus qualities - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). - Completion of a psychiatric residency program from an accredited medical school - Board eligible in in appropriate specialty (board certified preferred)
