Overview

Urgent need for Medical Assistant Location: - Carpenters Wellness Center - 1403 Hampton Ave., St. Louis, MO 63139 Shift Schedule: - Monday thru Friday - variable 8-hour day *1 hour lunch break each day Skill Set Needed: - Knowledgeable of POC testing – Strep test, flu tests, COVID testing, urinalysis, etc. - Phlebotomy skills - Obtaining Vitals – BP, temp, pulse, etc. - Basic terminology knowledge - Ability to be flexible with different workflows and adapting to different environments. - Strong in multi-tasking - Answering phones - Basic EMR knowledge, basic computer skills. Other staff on-site: - Physician, NP, MAs Patient volume: - 20-50 Start date: Asap; 2 month contract, on-going till perm position is offered Interview Process: 1. Candidate presentation 2. Set phone interview with Reldoe 3. Phone Interview with Hiring Manager 4. Offer/hire Candidate Turnaround Expectation: * 24 hours Additional Job Details: Pay Rate: base $20-23/hr.   • Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Missouri (MO)
