Overview
Summary: This role will function as a Pharmacy Technician under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist to assist in the preparation of all components used in the management of Home Infusion Therapy including IV and Injectable medications, all supplies required for the various IV access devices, and helping to coordinate all the underlying tasks required to facilitate these processes. Schedule: A regular work week will consist of approximately 40-45 hours. This will primarily consist of some set hours M-F between 9:30 am and when the pharmacy closes, (Typically between 6:30-7:00 pm) The job requires a significant amount of standing, some lifting up to 30 lbs. This person will be expected to work independently and pro-actively to get the work done in a timely manner. Educational Requirements: •A high school diploma is required. •Valid, current, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of practice, and Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) is required. Experience Requirements: •At least two (2) years’ experience working in a pharmacy required •2 plus years in Long Term Care, Home Infusion, and/or Retail Pharmacy, preferred. •Must have a Basic Knowledge of Sterile Compounding, the ability to learn our specific Pharmacy Software systems, utilize Microsoft Office efficiently – Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and intermediate typing skills.
Qualifications

- Valid Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in Tennessee (TN)
