Senior DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are searching for a Senior DevOps Engineer to fill a remote permanent role as soon as possible. The ideal candidate is one with 5+ years of DevOps experience in an AWS environment. Primary responsibilities for this role include understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers, building new development tools and infrastructure, and developing and updating Infrastructure as code. Additionally, you will design, automate and improve development and release processes; ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats. Top Skills: 1. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Cloudformation) 2. AWS Infrastructure Management 3. Kubernetes 4. Application security 5. Linux 6. Experience scripting automated tasks This role requires excellent written and verbal communication to ensure successful collaboration with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended. You will also participate in mapping out projects and being involved in project management decisions.
