Overview

Title: Market General Manager Your Role As a market level General Manager, you will report to the SVP Operations and play a meaningful role in helping build our company from the ground floor up. You will be directly responsible for the strategy, growth, and operational oversight of one or more business partnerships or ventures within the market. You will partner closely with other members of the market leadership team, health plans and our joint venture provider groups to provide oversite of financial, operational, and quality metrics. Work cross-functionally and strategically with Finance, Business Development, Operations, Care Management, Product, Data Science, Medical Affairs, Talent, and the Executive Team to achieve shared success and impact. Primary responsibilities for this role: •Act as a strategist on the financial and operational performance of your territories and growth opportunities for Our Company and our JV provider partners. Mindfully monitor the performance of each venture, applying best practices and lessons learned to advance all markets performance year over year. •Manage multi-million-dollar PnL for the market, ensuring the appropriate value levers are in place to drive positive patient and financial outcomes. •Ensure clinical teams within the market are adequately focused on the needs of patients, and that staffing appropriately supports the needs of the client while allowing clinicians to work to top of license. •Lead collaboration between provider JV partners, Our network team and health care economics to establish high performing specialty and hospital network •Support network in contracting activities •Serve as a mentor to your management teams, appropriately advocating for their needs while simultaneously holding them accountable for key performance indicators. •Standardize operations, where beneficial, to leverage lessons learned across markets to benefit improvements across Our Company’s full organization. •Develop and nurture relationship with local health plan leadership teams, including sales and marketing to support care coordination initiatives and Our Company’s membership growth. Deliver on growth strategy quarter over quarter. •Represent the Company brand in the community, serving to build brand awareness through networking and grassroots organizations that further our cause •Other duties, including special projects, as assigned Qualifications: •10+ years of leadership with experience in health care operations and value-based risk contracts under capitated arrangements. •Experience with Medicare Advantage health plan offerings and populations of patients with chronic conditions – with an ability to execute on a vision of creating strong best-in-class payor/provider solution. •Familiarity with commercial valued-based arrangements, including shared savings and risk •Extensive PnL experience with demonstrated success operating on budget and understanding of key performance indicators •Ability to travel up to at least 20% of the time •Executive presence and collaborative mindset with multiple stakeholders that influence Our Company including: internal and external boards, health plan members, joint venture patients, and employees •Must be a resourceful self-started, with an ability to build operational dashboards that tell the story of how your organizations perform •Solution-oriented mindset and work approach, with a willingness to contribute to many different types of tasks to get things done in a rapid paced start-up environment, even if they fall outside your normal scope of duties. •Cultural ambassador that can communicate and engage all levels of employees, both clinical and non-clinical. •Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with strong communication skills. Experience manipulating published reports and dashboards in Tableau is helpful. Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Health Care Operations (10+ years)
  • Value Based Risk Contracts (5+ years)
  • PnL Budget Management (5+ years)
  • Are you willing to travel throughout the Albany and Buffalo markets as needed?
Preferred
