Overview

Our client is seeking a Family Therapist to join their growing team that will facilitate individual family and group therapies with individuals (ages 12-18) who are struggling with teenage depression, teen anxiety, and trauma-related issues, along with co-occurring eating disorders and teenage substance abuse. Top Skills Required: • Master’s Degree in marriage family therapy, counseling, sociology, or psychology • Licensed in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, or Social Work in the state of VA (LMFT, LPC, LCSW or Clinical Psychologist) • Experience providing family therapy with adolescents and parents, preferably in a residential treatment setting What you need to know: • Carries a caseload of families designated as the point of contact for the family • Facilitates two therapy sessions per week (individual, couples and/or family) • Onsite | Monday - Friday • Schedule availability between: 8:00am-7:00pm • Sign-On Bonus

Qualifications

Required
  • 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Family Therapy
    • Residential In Patient Therapy
    • Counseling
    • Social Work
  • Master's degree or higher
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Virginia (VA)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia (VA)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia (VA)
    • Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) in Virginia (VA)
