BS degree in physical therapy required; masters degree in health care administration or in related rehabilitation field preferred Tell me about this job – The Rehabilitation Services Director is responsible for management and direction of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department. Under the direction of the Department Director, this Department encompasses rehabilitative services provided to patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric. The Director must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to providing appropriate care to patients served in his/her department. The Director must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, the ability to assess and interpret data reflective of the patient s status, and the ability to identify each patient s care requirements as described in Department Policies and Procedures.
