The El Paso State Supported Living Center is requesting the following Locum Service: Position: - Physician Schedule: - Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm - Some on call time may be required (On-Site Only) Date: - As Soon As Possible Pay: - Negotiable - $100-$114 LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: - Must be licensed as a medical doctor by the State of Texas - Must have current registration certificates from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) - Must possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI#) as defined by Medicare Part B DESCRIPTION: El Paso SSLC is seeking a Physician to join an interdisciplinary team of professionals to provide clinical care and leadership to El Paso State Supported Living Center (SSLC). You will work with a dynamic group of staff and professionals who are dedicated to providing supports and services for adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a team environment where staff clinicians collaborate to provide comprehensive care and services. The Physician ensures the delivery of high quality medical services to adult individuals with intellectual disabilities served by El Paso SSLC. Provides diagnoses and treatment of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who also have complex medical, psychiatric and/or behavioral health needs. Administers specialized medical treatments and procedures. Participates in team treatment process. May provide and coordinate treatment to employees injured in course and scope of employment. May share on-call duty with other qualified medical staff. The Physician works under the minimal supervision of the Medical Director with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree
- Valid Medical Doctor (MD) in Texas (TX)
- Do you have current registration certificates from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA)?
- Do you possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI#) as defined by Medicare Part B?
