NP-Family Medicine

Overview

NP-Family Medicine Shift Schedule: • 40 hours/week. • Hours MWF 7-4, TTh 9-6. • We can flex to an 8am start on MWF and 5 pm close on TTh URGENT NEED: Needed ASAP --DOT Certified Examiner (Phys, NP or PA) --8-16 hours per week (or 1 day every other week, flexible) --Hours and days per week are flexible --Must be able to perform DOT physicals LONG TERM: --We are looking for a strong provider (Phys, NP or PA) 4--0 hrs / week MWF 7-4, TTH 9-6 (possible flex of hours) P--erform Physical Exams to include Well Women, Children and DOT Physicals --Treat chronic conditions (with meds), acute care and basic occ health --Dispensing License preferred --Computer Skills (MDScripts & EPIC) Location: 1733 Erickson Ave Harrisonburg, VA • 12-16 weeks. Starting asap. Required: • Active NP certification in the state of VA (Family Practice BC) • Strong Occupational health and family practice experience (3-4 years) • Essential provider can perform physical exams including well woman and children • Critical this person can treat (with meds) chronic conditions. • computer skills (MDScript & EPIC) • treatment of acute care – such as URI, sore throat, urinary infection, and disorder of the ear • basic occ health, primarily DOT physicals Tuesday and Thursday hours are 9a-6p Interview process: • Quick interview process • One with Relode, One with hiring manager

Qualifications

• Are you vaccinated against COVID-19
• Have you had a PPD Skin Test with Negative results within the last 12 months? Must have a copy of the results, if you have not had the test, or do not have a copy of the results, please select NO.
• Have you been vaccinated against HepB or had a titers test drawn? Must have proof of vaccination or titers test to select YES.
• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Virginia (VA)
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
• 3+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Epic
  • Occupational Health
  • Family Practice
  • DOT physicals
  • Board Certified
