BCLS Preferred COHN-S Tell me about this job – The occupational health nurse clinician is an essential role encompassing the application of the nursing process to direct care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. In addition, the clinician collaborates with other members of the occupation health team to maintain a safe and healthful work environment. The nursing diagnoses are the basis for planning and managing employee health care through the development of a nursing care plan. Goals and objectives are mutually identified by the occupational health nurse and the worker, and action/methods to achieve them are then determined.
