Overview

Job Details: • This position is considered an ambassador assisting in the daily operation and input of patient medical information and history into the proper systems in the Infusion Center and preparing components used in the management and routine follow-up care. • Enter medication orders for new referrals prior to clinical review and confirmation, as well as prepare refills for subsequent visits. Assist PA, NP and other providers in preparing daily orders. • Troubleshoot issues and triage as needed. Contact patients, caregivers and/or physicians to secure new orders, arrange for prior authorizations and payment arrangements as needed. Minimum Qualifications: • Education: High school diploma or GED required. Training or equivalent work experience as a CPhT with current, active and unrestricted pharmacy technician license in the state of practice, and pharmacy technician certification required. Experience: • Six months to 1 years’ experience in a clinical pharmacy setting or infusion center preferred. • Must be proficient in computer skills, including MS Office. • Functional Competencies: Written and verbal communication, prioritization, attention to detail, organization, time management, follow-up, decision making, initiative, data entry, accuracy, cooperation, and collaboration.

Qualifications

Required
  • High School/GED
  • Valid Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in Tennessee (TN)
  • 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Clinical Pharmacy
    • Infusion Center
