Overview
Required skills and experience: • A current unencumbered State professional license • Active CPR Certification • Must maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record • An automobile to be used for work • Reliable transportation • One year experience as a home care professional (must be comfortable treating patients in their homes and traveling out in the field with an assigned PTA). What you need to know: The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services; communicates the patient's progress with other disciplines and directs, supervises and instructs non-professional home health aide staff in the provision of personal care to the patient. • Under the physician's order, admits patients eligible for home care services within 24-48 hours • Assess and evaluates patient needs/problems, identifies mutually agreed upon goals with patients • Reports patient status and need for other disciplines to agency Clinical Supervisor and referring physician • Reports to assigned follow-up Clinician as indicated • Develops patient care plan that specifically addresses identified patient problems and goals Interview process: • Phone interview to go over high level details • Interview with Hiring manager/Director • Offer same day as second round interview Job selling points: • Significant bonus potential based on team performance and outcomes • Health, Dental, Vision, Disability & Life Insurance • 401K Retirement Plan (with match) • CME and Tuition Reimbursement • Paid Time Off, Holidays and Volunteer Time • Paid Orientation and Training • No holidays/weekends • No Hospital Rounds • Mobile diagnostic service and state-of-the-art technology Additional job details: • Travel with PTA to see 5-7 patients a day (depending on type of care they need) • Up to 60 mile travel radius •Will be able to have a lot of 1:1 time with the patients, so ability to create great rapport with patients is key. Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher
- Valid American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) in Texas (TX)

- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
