Please see the request listed below: Austin State Hospital RNs needed for short to long term positions lasting three to six months (or longer) as long as there are no performance issues. Address: Austin State Hospital 4110 Guadalupe Street Austin, TX. 78751 Shift time: - 7am-3pm - 3pm-11pm - + Every other weekend - Must be available for 13 consecutive days of training M-F 8a-5p. Please verify that Candidate is available for 13 consecutive days of training, M-F, 8-5 before resume is sent in (this is non-negotiable). The following two shifts are available: 7a-3p and 3p-11p, both working every other weekend. Our biggest need right now is 3p-11p. We do not have 12 hour shifts. Overtime Pay: Facilities do not allow staffing agency to work more than 40 hours in one week unless approved and scheduled on an individual basis by Austin State Hospital. 10 RNs - Psych experience is preferred but not required Contractor shall provide the following service(s) to patients of the Facility: - Registered Nurse performs various patient care duties, under the supervision of the Unit Nurse Manager. Requirements: - Must possess valid RN license and be submitted with resume - Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements (TB test within the past year) - Must be drug tested by the contracting agency and pass (Relode provides) - Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting (facility provides) - Must complete facility and HHSC required training Responsibilities: - Provide care for patients - manage psychiatric / medical emergency, complete nursing assessments for new admissions - Perform computer data entry - Receive full training - Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, Joint Commission guidelines, CMS Standards, ASH Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives. Please note: Start date is determined by Chosen Candidate's compliance with all clearance requirements Please only submit candidates that meet the qualifications.
