Overview

TYPE: - Travel Nurse Practitioner - will onboard with client as a W2 employee. LOCATION: - PRN Travel assignments within the State of Maine - (although this job is says Portland 04101, we are accepting NP's from all across the State of Maine) SCHEDULE: - Minimum 5 hours per week, ideally 20 hours per week - Can work Mon-Sun (no office support on weekend) - Flexible schedule. No On-call or evenings - Must be willing to commute SALARY: - $95 per completed assessment - Daily Per Diem and Travel Reimbursement BENEFITS: - PRN providers are non-benefited except for limited Voluntary Benefits MUST HAVE: - Must be capable of traveling to & from each patients home. - Valid state driver license and proof of coverage. - Must be Covid Vaccinated. POSITION SUMMARY: The Nurse Practitioner (NP) brings expert care to members, through clinical assessments, screenings, and education. This role may provide care in a variety of settings including member/participant homes, assisted living facilities, Telehealth visits, and skilled nursing facilities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Perform screenings including medical history, physical exam, medication reconciliation and education. - Effectively identify, evaluate, and address the concerns of the member, employee or participant. - Administer and order point of care and lab based testing. - Order and interpret diagnostic imaging, laboratory results and provide clinically appropriate interventions, additional tests, or referral as needed. - Refer members to PCP, case management, disease management programs, and/or appropriate specialist as necessary. - Maintains positive control of all PHI information and compliance with OSHA and State Board of Nursing.
