Overview

Urgent need for Medical Assistant - must be bi-lingual (Spanish) Location: - Union Wellness Centers Bellwood - 2400 Madison St Suite 102A, Bellwood, IL 60104 Start date: - Asap; 1 to 3 month contract, on-going till perm is found - training begins week of 4/24 Schedule: - M 8am – 5pm (1 hr. break) - T 9am – 7pm (1 hr. break) - W 8am – 5pm (1 hr. break) - Th 9am – 7pm (1 hr. break) - F 8am – 4:30pm (30 min break) Scope of Services: - Front and Back office duties - Answer phone, schedule patients, administrative work - Need to have phlebotomy experience - Need to have familiarity with outpatient/primary care office flow and procedures - Need to have EMR experience (would prefer if they had Powerchart/Rev Cycle (but will train someone that has previous EMR experience) Other staff on-site: - Physician, PT, RN Patient volume: - n/a Interview Process: 1. Candidate presentation 2. Reject or set phone interview 3. phone Interview completed 4. Reject or Offer Candidate Turnaround Expectation: - 24 hours Additional Job Details: - Pay Rate: $20-$24/hr. - negotiable Required skills and experience: - CMA

Qualifications

Required
  • Associate degree or higher
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • Have you received both doses of the Covid-19 Vaccine?
