overview

If you’re looking to advance your career in case management, we have a management position that may be your next step. We are seeking an experienced Case Management Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the department. You’ll be working in a large, busy facility with a positive, collaborative team who aren’t afraid to ask for help when they need it. In this position, you’ll be handling staffing, attendance, scheduling, and balancing caseloads. You’ll be interacting daily with support case managers, running new employee orientations, performing evaluations, and implementing new policies, so experience in management and excellent communication skills are a must. You’ll also be working closely with the director to plan future changes so your department is as successful as possible. To thrive in this position, you’ll need to implement and document areas like patient and family interviews, physician admission orders, initial reviews, and electronic referrals. This means that familiarity with KRONOS, ECIN InterQual (or Midas+), MediTech, and CMS processes is necessary. More than anything, recognizing where more training or education is needed and supporting your case managers when they’re dealing with difficult situations is critical to success in this position.
