Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular

Overview

Position: Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular Surgery * Location: Syracuse, NY * Start date: Early September * Shift: Days - 12 hr shifts (36 hrs/week) -7am-7:30pm (night shift available too) -rotating 24 hour call and night call Job Details: -Inpatient only -8-10 patients per day -Level 2 Trauma -EMR: Epic Required procedures: Invasive lines Chest tubes 1st assist in CV surgery (Adult only) SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: NCCPA - Required NY license at the time of submission - Required ACLS - Required NO NEW GRADS CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: ACLS NCCPA STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS New York

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher
• Are you fully vaccinated against covid19?
• Valid Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) in New York (NY)
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in New York (NY)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS) in New York (NY)
• 3+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Invasive lines
  • Chest tubes
  • Level 2 Trauma
  • 1st assist in CV surgery
  • Epic
