NP or PA - Hospitalist

Overview

Client is looking for NP or PA hospitalist to cover starting August for 90 days with the possibility to extend. Facility Details: -Medical-surgical setting seeing inpatient, observation and swing bed patients. -Will be rounding in the am with an MD and then on own through the day with phone check-ins with the MD; -Will need to be available by phone 2 nights per week on-call but not required to physically come in. -Will be required to round with MD, enter orders, perfroma documentation (H7Ps, progress notes, discharge summaries) **Supervising Physician will be available Only during rounds; he is available by phone and his office is located next to the hospital; ED providers are present 24/7 Job Details: -Adults and Geriatrics - No PEDS -EMR - Cerner -Average # of patients - 7 Days 7:30a-4pm Monday-Thursday (2 on call nights/week via telephone) Procedures Required: -Non- Invasive Vent Management (bipap/cpap) -EKG Interpretation -History and Physicals -House Codes- Rapid Response Team SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS -Prefer local candidates -Must have active MI license at time of name clear - no exceptions CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS -ACLS (AHA) -BLS (AHA) -Board Certified STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS -Michigan ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS --ACLS, BLS

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher
• Are you fully vaccinated against covid19?
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in Michigan (MI)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS) in Michigan (MI)
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Michigan (MI)
• 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Geriatric Care
  • Hospitalist
  • Non- Invasive Vent Management (bipap/cpap)
  • Cerner
  • Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
  • Inpatient Facility
• Are you able to work all of the dates/times listed in the job description (including on call via phone)?
• Have you spoken to a Relode recruiter on the phone about all the job details?
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Board Certified
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
