Overview

Our client is seeking an OR / Surgical Technologist to join their growing team on Eglin Air Force Base, FL. This role will be responsible for performing full spectrum of sterile techniques, setting up surgical trays, preparing and draping patients for surgery, and assisting with post-operative dressing for Military Members, their Families and Retired Military Veterans. Top Skills Required: • 2+ years of experience as an OR / Surgical Technologist in a multi-specialty surgical environment • Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST), Tech-in-surgery (TS-C), or possess a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) certification as a surgical technician and/or operating room technician. • BLS Certification (AHA or ARC) • Ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance • Graduate from Surgical Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accrediting bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or completion of a formal training program provided by any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force) for surgical technicians, surgical technologists or operating room technicians. Qualifications

Required
  • Associate degree or higher
  • working as an OR / Surgical Technologist (2+ years)
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) in Florida (FL)
    • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS) in Florida (FL)
    • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in Florida (FL)
    • Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) in Florida (FL)
    • Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Florida (FL)
  • Do you have the ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance?
