NP or PA - Surgeon - Cardiothoracic - Contract LOCATION Atlantic City NJ JOB TYPE Locum •Schedule: day shift (4 10’s weekday 7-5) with night call. Weekend call every 3rd weekend. DESCRIPTION The client is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery APP to start as soon as credentialed for a 14 week assignment with the potential to extend.  •10 patients per day •OR/Floor, ICU for procedures (tubes wires removal) but not rounding •EMR: Cerner •Will APP be Working Autonomously?  Yes. •Adults only •90 day credentialing timeframe •Client would not consider any provider from Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS NCCPA or ANCC - Required. Active NJ License - Required BLS, ACLS, RNFA - Required Provider must be experienced, no new grads - Required Local candidates, will NOT reimburse for flights - Required Clean background/no malpractice - Highly Preferred Must be able to work 6-12 shifts per month Must have proof of COVID-19 Vaccine - Required - Verbal Confirmation needed at time of name clear

Qualifications

Required
  • Master's degree or higher
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in New Jersey (NJ)
    • American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in New Jersey (NJ)
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) in New Jersey (NJ)
    • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS) in New Jersey (NJ)
  • Are you fully vaccinated against Covid19?
  • Are you able to work all the times/dates listed in the job description?
  • Have you already spoken to a Relode recruiter on the phone about the job description?
  • 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • PA/NP Cardiothoracic Surgery
    • Cerner
    • Treating Adults
    • Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
    • Operating Room (OR)
