Case Management Director

Overview

Immediate need!!! Looking for a talented case management director in the Houston area for a major hospital system. Must have experience as a director! *5 years preferred* Reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for planning, organizing and directing hospital social work, case management, and pre-access programs in accordance with the federal, state and local regulations. Determines scope and emphasis of the programs, and maintains cooperative working relationships with other hospital departments and outside agencies in order to coordinate provision of health and medical care services. Guides program of staff development and ensures staff awareness of available community resources. Requirements: -Bachelor's degree -Registered nurse (RN) -5 years case management experience within acute care setting -CMS regulations and payer knowledge preferred
