RN-Med Surg Location: Weirton WV DESCRIPTION Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). Traveler must be willing to work Thanksgiving (including Friday and weekend after) AND Christmas-New Year Day Block, (If Needed/Scheduled). RTO during these holidays will not be approved. Thanks! ***COVID VACCINATION REQUIRED FOR THIS NEED. Please note: This facility is a Nicotine free facility, travelers do not have to be Nicotine free but cannot use Nicotine while at the facility! Traveler will be working with Covid Patients at times. Patient Ratio: 1:6 Dress Code: Traveler provided scrubs/Navy Blue EMR: Sorian Level 4 Trauma Center SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS --3 Years CURRENT MS experience - Required --AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF TRAVEL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED --BSN - Preferred --Sorian EMR experience - Preferred --Must have WV or Compact license in hand upon submission Profile Requirements: Work History Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year 2 Signed References from a Supervisor (from within the past two years of employment) License: Must be uploaded with profile Certifications: Must be uploaded with profile or listed in profile that they currently have them CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS BLS (AHA) STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS West Virginia Compact Allowed Shift: 12hr Days 36hr Guarantee. WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS Every Other Weekend/Holidays as needed

Qualifications

Required
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in West Virginia (WV)
  • 3+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
    • RN
    • Sorian EMR
  • Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Can you work all the dates/times listed in the job description?
  • Are you fully vaccinated against Covid19?
  • Have you previously worked as a Travel RN?
