Overview

Cath Lab RN - contract Location: Weirton WV JOB TYPE Temp Job responsibilities: Positions and immobilizes patient on examining table following specified protocols. Continuous assessment of patient hemodynamics. Performs conscious sedation. Mix and maintain IV/IC infusion and bolus. Alerts Physician to changes in patient responses. Assists Physician in interventional procedures. Recovery of patient to Phase I. Dress Code: Traveler provided scrubs/Navy Blue EMR: Sorian Level 4 Trauma Center SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS -2 years or more CURRENT Cath Lab experience - Required -2+ yrs experience in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures - Required -Moderate Sedation Certified - Highly Preferred -Proficiency interpreting EKG & Hemodynamic pressure tracings - Required -Conscious sedation experience - Required -IV experience - Required -EP experience - Highly Preferred -Sorian EMR experience - Preferred -Previous travel experience of One plus Years - Required -BSN Preferred COVID VACCINATION REQUIRED FOR THIS NEED. Weirton is a Nicotine free facility, travelers do not have to be Nicotine free but cannot use Nicotine while at the facility! Traveler will be working with Covid Patients at times. SHIFT NOTES 12hr Days 36hr Guarantee. WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS Every Other Weekend

Qualifications

• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) in West Virginia (WV)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) in West Virginia (WV)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS) in West Virginia (WV)
• Associate degree or higher
• 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Cath Lab
  • cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Proficiency interpreting EKG & Hemodynamic pressure tracings
  • Conscious sedation experience
  • IV experience
  • Sorian EMR
