Registered Nurse - Float Med Surg - 13 week contract Location: Pittsfield, MA 01201 Schedule: 36 hrs per week 7am-7:30pm Day Shift (Night shift available too) *Rotating weekend shifts Facility Info: Unit Size: 20 to 34 beds, depending upon Unit Patient Ratio: 1:6, typically Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). RN must be willing to work Thanksgiving holiday, including Friday and weekend after (If Needed/Scheduled). RTO during this holiday will not be approved. Thanks! SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS --MED SURG TRAVELERS MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT TO ANY Med Surg UNIT --2 years current MS experience --Willingness to float- Required --Basic Dysrhythmia course completion STRONGLY REQUIRED --Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred --BLS AND ACLS MUST BE IN HAND AT PROFILE UPLOAD. Facility will not pend either of these certifications. --AT LEAST TWO SPECIFIC INTERVIEW DATES/TIMES OF AVAILABILITY FOR INTERVIEW MUST BE ADDED TO PROFILE - PROFILES WILL NOT BE PRESENTED WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION. "ANYTIME" WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS ACLS (AHA) BLS (AHA) STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS Massachusetts ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS MA license MUST be in hand at profile upload. Facility will not pend license.

Qualifications

Required
  • Associate degree or higher

  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts (MA)
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) in Massachusetts (MA)
    • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS) in Massachusetts (MA)
  • 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Med Surg Nursing
    • Basic Dysrhythmia course completion
    • Meditech Expanse
