Overview

Required skills and experience: • Process payroll, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. Payroll will include corporate and hourly employees/contractors throughout the U.S. • Gather & process timesheet information for hours worked by hourly employees and contractors. • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions. • Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions. • Process multi-state taxes/filings and payment of employee benefits. • Keep track of hourly rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc. • Coordinate with HR for on/off-boarding process and benefit selections and changes. • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and contractors. • Other duties as required. What you need to know: • Degree in business administration, finance or accounting preferred but not required. • Proven experience as a payroll administrator or similar role. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices. • Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant payroll. software programs. • Working knowledge of relevant federal and state payroll tax regulations and compliance. • Strong attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • High level of customer service.
