Travel (CVOR) Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

Open to OR RN's with Cardio Vascular experience or heavy vascular experience (please note on the resume) Do NOT submit anyone who lives less than 50 miles radius from the LVHN position worksite & Submission attestation must be provided when presenting Travel RNs ****REQUIRED: PROOF of COVID & FLU vaccination MUST be provided at time candidate is submitted! Declinations are not accepted.**** ***Please note: LVHN requires a full Hep B series (3 doses) or positive Hep B antibody documentation** REQUIRED - Must be able to scrub and circulate. Directs and manages the care of designated operative patients and performs an ongoing patient assessment, creates and maintains a safe environment, and implements and enforces all policies and procedures. Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Develops a plan of perioperative nursing care based on patient assessment including physical, psychosocial, cultural, growth, and development dimensions. Certifications - Required AHA BLS - Basic Life Support Certificate NIHSS Certificate Education - Required Graduate of accredited Nursing program Licenses - Required Registered Nurse State of Pennsylvania Experience - Required 3 years Acute Care Experience and/or experience congruent with role in service line Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Required Successful completion of Registered Nurse orientation. Minimum ability to circulate surgical procedures. Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice. Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care. Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty. Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies. Basic computer skills. Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in Pennsylvania (PA)
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
• Valid National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
• 3+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Operating Room (OR)
  • Surgery - Cardiovascular
• Must be able to scrub and circulate
