Travel Med-Tele Day Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

MUST INCLUDE CLINICAL INTERVIEW AT TIME OF SUBMISSION. Med-Tele (6K) Cedar Crest - Days No RTO Do NOT submit anyone who lives less than 50 miles radius from the LVHN position worksite & Submission attestation must be provided when presenting Travel RNs ****REQUIRED: PROOF of COVID & FLU vaccination MUST be provided at time candidate is submitted! Declinations are not accepted.**** ***Please note: LVHN requires a full Hep B series (3 doses) or positive Hep B antibody documentation** Nurses are required to interpret telemetry. Unit Info: 6K is a 30 bed unit with up to 16 telemetry beds. Nurses are required to interpret telemetry. Provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies and procedures. Directs and manages the care of designated patients. Utilizes effective and appropriate communication styles. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served. Certifications - Required · AHA BLS - Basic Life Support Certificate · NIHSS Certificate Education - Required · Graduate of accredited Nursing program Experience - Required · 2 years Acute Care Experience and/or experience congruent with role in service line Licenses - Required · Registered Nurse State of Pennsylvania Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Required · Successful completion of Registered Nurse orientation. · Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice. · Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care. · Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty. · Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies. · Basic computer skills. Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in Pennsylvania (PA)
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
• Valid National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
• 2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
  • Telemetry

• Do you have a full HepB series (3doses) or positive HepB antibody documentation? (yes)
• Do you have proof of Covid & FLU vaccination. Declinations are not accepted (yes)
