Overview
Job Details: - Blaine, MN location (roughly 15 miles North from downtown Minneapolis) - Contract position - 8am – 5pm, Mon. – Fri. - 1 hour lunch - Must have experience in fast pace medical office environment with at least one year MA experience - Must be able to start within 2 weeks (or sooner) of offer - Duration: 2 months, will likely extend Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, training as a medical assistant, or military medical specialist with current credentials in the state of employment Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, clinical office environment Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) preferred but not required Responsibilities: - Greet patients, obtain their medical histories, and verify patient information - Prepare patients for physical examinations, including taking vital signs and performing required testing - Provide assistance during examinations and treatment - Perform ancillary testing and tasks as directed by the Center Medical Director - Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing - Cross-trained to perform Front Office duties including patient greeting, authorization, check-in/out, and communication of wait times - Company Information: Our client is a national healthcare provider with over 500 medical centers and 130 onsite clinics across the country. Qualifications

2+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Medical Assistant
- Fast Pace Environment
- Do any of the following apply to you: - Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program - Training as a Medical Assistant - Military Medical Specialist with current credentials in MN
- Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Minnesota (MN)
